Prince Andrew Arrested on Allegations of Misconduct

Prince Andrew, the former prince and brother of King Charles III, was arrested on Thursday, which coincided with his 66th birthday. The arrest was conducted by Thames Valley Police as part of an investigation into alleged misconduct in public office.

This action follows a two-week campaign by anti-royal organizations calling for police investigations into Andrew's past, particularly concerning his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. Documents indicate that Andrew may have shared confidential government information while serving as a British trade envoy.

Just a week prior to the arrest, Thames Valley Police confirmed they were assessing claims against him. On the day of the arrest, six unmarked police vehicles were seen arriving at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, followed by police activity at the royal lodge, which was Andrew's former residence on the Windsor Estate near London.
