Bruno Fernandes Rejects Al Hilal, Stays at Manchester United

Bruno Fernandes, the 31-year-old Portuguese international and former captain of Manchester United, revealed that he turned down a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal last summer. He stated that he believes he has unfinished business at Manchester United, especially following the club's disappointing 15th place finish in the previous season, their worst campaign since 1973-74.

Despite the major financial offer from Saudi Arabia, Fernandes expressed his commitment to the club and his desire to remain at Old Trafford. His future at Manchester United is uncertain as he has one year left on his contract, although his performance this season may prompt discussions for a new deal.

Fernandes has scored 106 goals in 322 appearances since joining the club in 2020 and aims to focus on winning the biggest honors. He also acknowledged the competition for individual awards from players like Declan Rice and Gabriel Magalhães.
