BUA Cement Graduates 60 Operators, Offers Jobs in Sokoto

BUA Cement PLC held a graduation ceremony in Sokoto for 60 youths who completed training as Heavy Duty Machine Operators. The event, part of BUA's Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, aimed to empower local communities and address youth unemployment in the region.

Engr. Muhammad Haliru Binji, the Managing Director and Chief Executive of BUA Cement, was represented by the Plant Director, Engr. Aminu Bashir, during the ceremony. The graduates underwent a rigorous six-month technical training program designed to provide them with practical skills in operating and maintaining heavy-duty equipment used in cement production and mining operations.

Out of the 60 graduates, 52 were offered automatic employment by BUA Cement, reflecting the company's commitment to supporting the local workforce and enhancing skill development in the community.
