Yobe Governor Urges Forest Guards to Uphold Discipline and Integrity in Enhancing Security

Governor Buni of Yobe State addressed the first batch of 886 forest guards, stressing the importance of discipline and integrity in enhancing the state's security architecture. He highlighted the significant contributions of the forest guards in improving security since assuming office in 2019.

The governor also disclosed the distribution of vehicles to the police and security agencies to bolster operations. Intelligence reports indicate forests are becoming hideouts for criminals, prompting the need for well-equipped forest guards.

Various dignitaries, including NSA Nuhu Ribadu and CP Adamu Musa Askira, supported the establishment of forest guards to combat criminal elements.
