Cameroon to Host FIBA 2027 African Qualifiers Window

FIBA Africa announced that Cameroon will host the third window of the FIBA 2027 African qualifiers from July 2 to July 5, 2026. The group matches will include the host nation, Cameroon, along with Cape Verde, Libya, and South Sudan.

This decision was made during a meeting held in Abidjan on April 15, 2026. The event is part of FIBA's efforts to develop and strengthen Cameroon as a hub for major sporting events in Africa.

Additionally, Senegal will host the group B fixtures, which will involve Côte d'Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Angola. The upcoming window follows earlier qualifiers held in Alexandria and Dakar.

FIBA is expected to announce the host for the fourth window on May 15, 2026.
