Kaduna Inland Dry Port Sees Surge in Cargo Traffic, Boosting Trade Activities

The Nigerian Shippers' Council (NSC) reported a significant increase in cargo traffic at the Kaduna Inland Dry Port (KIDP) from 200 to 800 containers monthly. This growth is credited to improved coordination, removal of operational bottlenecks, and infrastructure investments by the Kaduna State government.

The port's deputy director, Danjuma Buba, highlighted the positive impact on trade and revenue generation, urging businesses to fully utilize the port's services. Additionally, the port manager, Razak Salami, emphasized the role of collaborative efforts with government agencies in sustaining the port's growth.
