CDCFIB Shortlists Applicants for Paramilitary Screening

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) announced that applicants who participated in the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise for four paramilitary agencies have been shortlisted for the physical screening and document verification stage. This announcement was made in a statement signed by the Secretary, Maj Gen Abdulmalik Jibril (retd.), on Friday.

Applicants are instructed to verify their recruitment status via the official CDCFIB recruitment portal using their application numbers. Those shortlisted must upload their credentials and select a date and venue for the physical screening exercise.

The recruitment process involves the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigerian Correctional Service, and Federal Fire Service. The board cautioned applicants against fraudsters who may attempt to solicit money by claiming they can influence the recruitment process.

Candidates are advised not to pay for shortlisting, document uploads, venue allocations, or final selections. The recruitment exercise began with online applications in July 2025, followed by a Computer-Based Test in November 2025.
