Chrisland School Wins 5th D.O.A. Memorial Soccer Title

Chrisland School retained the 5th D.O.A. Memorial Soccer title by defeating Faith Academy 2-1 in a thrilling final held at Chrisland College Idimu, CCI Stadium, Lagos.

This annual grassroots football tournament, organized in memory of the late Daniel Oreoluwa Adebiyi, featured eight schools and celebrated youth football, sportsmanship, and talent development. Faith Academy finished as the runner-up, while Suprem Education Foundation claimed third place.

Foundation, reaffirmed the foundation's commitment to expanding the competition to create greater opportunities for young footballers across Nigeria. The tournament aims to honor Daniel Oreoluwa Adebiyi's legacy and support grassroots football development.

Former Super Eagles player Ifeanyi Udez praised the initiative, emphasizing the importance of grassroots competitions in discovering Nigeria's next football stars. The tournament's Most Valuable Player, 16-year-old Demilad Osho, is a 12th-grade student who aims to pursue a professional football career.
