City Boy Movement Distributes Food Palliatives in Cross River

The City Boy Movement, a youth-focused support group, distributed 5,000 boxes of essential food items to residents of Cross River State during an event held in Calabar on Friday. This initiative was designed to support both the Muslim community celebrating Eid el-Fitr and the Christian community preparing for Easter.

State coordinator Okon Eyo Ita emphasized that the City Boy Movement is not merely an organization but a platform for mobilizing youth, fostering civic responsibility, and sustaining grassroots engagement to support national development. The outreach is seen as a signal of a broader agenda aimed at positive change.

Ekaet Bassei, speaking on behalf of other beneficiaries, noted that the support provided a significant boost to families during this period, expressing gratitude for the generosity of the City Boy Movement.
