City Boy Movement Launches Free Hepatitis B Program

On February 19, 2026, Dr. Martha Agba, representing the City Boy Movement, launched a free Hepatitis B diagnosis and treatment program in Bekwarra, Cross River State.

This initiative is part of a broader commitment to improve healthcare access and empower rural communities, particularly focusing on women and youth. The event highlighted the movement's alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda, emphasizing healthcare access for underserved populations.

The program includes awarding full scholarships to students, such as Akwaji Bonifac Akwaji, covering educational expenses including WAEC fees. Additionally, financial support will be provided to women entrepreneurs to strengthen their businesses and enhance economic independence.

Dr. Agba condemned gender-based violence and called for greater social responsibility among community stakeholders, marking the outreach as a significant blend of healthcare intervention and educational support aimed at grassroots political mobilization.
