Olaopa and Walson-Jack Collaborate to Revive Civil Service

Prof. Tunji Olaopa, the current chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), and Mr.

Esther Didi Walson-Jack, the head of the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), are working together to enhance the Nigerian civil service. Their collaboration is marked by a commitment to restoring the civil service to its former glory and improving service delivery to citizens.

Olaopa emphasized the importance of synergy between the two offices, describing them as "siames twins." He noted that their cooperative spirit is essential for overcoming bureaucratic rivalries that have historically hindered effective governance. The two leaders have initiated joint meetings to resolve conflicts and share responsibilities in implementing policies and regulations.

Olaopa's tenure has been characterized by a focus on collaboration and reform, aiming to create a more efficient civil service. Their leadership will be further showcased at the inauguration of the 10th Federal Civil Service Commission in December 2023.
