Cleric Urges Christians to Speak Positively Amid Challenges

Apostle John Okoriko, the founder of Solid Rock Kingdom in Akwa Ibom State, cautioned Christians against making careless negative utterances during a monthly interaction session held in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area on a Sunday. The theme of the session was centered on the importance of the spoken word.

Okoriko expressed regret over how families and churches often dwell on negative and pessimistic words, which he believes hinder progress in life. He urged people to speak positively about their environment, businesses, careers, and families, encouraging citizens to maintain hope despite the socio-political and security challenges facing Nigeria.

Okoriko referenced the nation of Israel, advising against following negative narratives and instead promoting positive teachings to effect change in Nigeria. He acknowledged the current economic conditions that have led many to lose hope but stressed the need for collective positive affirmations to transform the political, economic, and social landscape of the country.
