Group Commends Tinubu, IGP for Supporting Igboho

A group led by Alhaji Ahmad Adegok has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Inspector General of Police Tunji Disu, and Director General of the Department of State Services Oluwatosin Adeola Ajayi for their support of Chief Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, in enhancing security in Oyo State, particularly in the Ok Ogun area. The group acknowledged the efforts of Igboho's security network in rescuing kidnap victims and improving community safety.

They expressed appreciation for the roles played by the Oyo State Police Command and other security personnel in restoring peace amid rising violence, including kidnappings and attacks that have instilled fear among residents. The statement highlighted the recent release of Alhaja Kubura Aliqla and her two-year-old son Abdulmalik, emphasizing the ongoing security challenges in the region.

The group called for sustained security operations to address criminal activities and urged community leaders to cooperate with law enforcement to discourage any support for criminal elements.
