Kwankwaso Urges Engineers in Scotland to Return Home

Former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, called on Nigerian engineers residing in Scotland to return to Nigeria and leverage their expertise for national development. This appeal was made through his representative, Dr. Sam Omale, during the 2026 Engineering Conference of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) held in Glasgow.

Kwankwaso described engineers as essential problem-solvers who utilize data and evidence in decision-making. He identified key national challenges such as corruption, infrastructure deficits, insecurity, and economic instability, pledging that a government led by the Obi-Kwankwaso team would prioritize integrity, accountability, and measurable results if elected.

Kwankwaso articulated his vision for a federal and democratic Nigeria that ensures equal protection and opportunities for all citizens, regardless of tribe, ethnicity, or religion. He encouraged engineers to acquire relevant skills and return home to support the transformation of Nigeria into a vibrant economy.
