NDC Courts Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Amid PDP Crisis

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is making efforts to attract Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed to join its ranks as he contemplates leaving the People's Democratic Party (PDP). During a meeting, NDC's state chairman, Abdullahi Maigari Misau, described the party as a credible and peaceful platform for politicians seeking a fresh start ahead of future elections.

The NDC aims to provide support and stability amid ongoing internal crises and litigations within the PDP. Misau noted that the NDC is open to welcoming politicians, including loyalists of Governor Mohammed, assuring them of a fair and transparent political environment.

The party is also working on expanding its grassroots presence in Bauchi State and has introduced a digital registration portal to encourage participation. The NDC's membership has reportedly reached nine million, and Misau urged citizens to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) to engage actively in governance.
