CRC Credit Bureau Named Best in Nigeria for 2026

CRC Credit Bureau has been awarded the title of the best credit bureau in Nigeria for the seventh consecutive year by CFI Co. This recognition, part of the Professional Services Award 2026, underscores CRC Credit Bureau's position as a leading provider of credit information services in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.

The award is determined by an independent judging panel that evaluates institutions based on the strength of their products, service quality, innovation, customer engagement, operational efficiency, and overall contribution to the financial ecosystem. Dr.

Tunde Popoola, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CRC Credit Bureau, expressed deep honor in receiving this recognition, attributing the achievement to the entire team’s dedication and commitment to excellence. He emphasized that the award reflects the trust of customers and institutional partners, which drives the bureau's progress.

As of early 2026, CRC Credit Bureau maintains the largest single unit of private credit bureau in Nigeria, housing approximately 60 million unique data subjects and around 160 million credit facility records.
