Antonia Alli Seeks House of Reps Seat in Cross River

Antonia Alli, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State and daughter of the late Brigadier Godwin Alli, has officially picked nomination forms to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing the Obanliku, Obudu, and Bekwarra federal constituencies. In a statement issued by her media aide, Bolatito Adebola, on Monday, she expressed her motivation to join the race, rooted in a desire to expand services for the people and ensure their voices are not only heard but acted upon in the legislative process.

Alli emphasized her focus on aligning public policy with the needs of grassroots communities, aiming to bridge the gap between public policy and grassroots needs. She has been actively involved in developmental initiatives spanning healthcare, education, and youth empowerment.

Previously, she served as the managing director and chief executive officer of a foundation that led interventions targeting vulnerable groups. In 2025, she plans to launch the Agbed Foundation in Obudu, focusing on vocational training and healthcare services for underserved communities.
