CSO Calls for Scrapping of Inefficient Agencies in Akwa Ibom State

The Civil Society Organizations (CSO) in Akwa Ibom State, led by Otuekong Franklyn Isong, are advocating for the scrapping of several state agencies like the Akwa Ibom State Life Enhancement Agency and Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board. They argue that these agencies exhibit inefficiency, lack impact, and violate the constitution.

Isong also highlights the poor performance of other agencies like the Akwa Ibom State Environmental Protection and Waste Management Agency. The CSO is recommending increased legislative oversight and funding for key sectors like the judiciary.
