Dangote Refinery Expands Free Fuel Delivery to Four States

Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals has expanded its free petroleum product delivery initiative to Kano, Imo, Anambra, and Nasarawa States. This initiative is expected to reduce distribution costs for independent petroleum marketers and facilitate lower petrol prices at the pump.

Initially launched in Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Kaduna, Abuja, and Delta States, the initiative aims to bring petroleum products closer to marketers and retailers while eliminating long-distance transportation costs from the refinery. Fatima Aliko Dangote, Group Executive Director, Commercial Operations, Oil & Gas, WAEP and Fertiliser, stated that the initiative is designed to ensure that the benefits of domestic refining translate into savings for businesses and consumers.

Chinedu Ukadike, National Publicity Secretary of IPMAN, welcomed the initiative, noting it addresses financial and logistical challenges faced by independent marketers, improving cash flow and reducing the time their funds are tied up.
