Fayose Labels Datti Baba-Ahmed a Failure in Critique

Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, publicly criticized Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the former vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party, labeling him a failure. In a video posted on his Facebook page, Fayose claimed that Datti's recent criticisms of Peter Obi stemmed from Obi's choice of Rabiu Kwankwaso as his running mate for the 2027 presidential elections.

Fayose asserted that Kwankwaso holds greater political relevance in the North compared to Datti Baba-Ahmed, who, according to Fayose, failed to secure victory for the Labour Party even in his home state during the last elections. He stated, “Datti Ahmed is a failure.

Nobody knew this man before Peter Obi picked him in 2022 as his running mate.” Fayose further expressed that Obi made a mistake in selecting Datti and praised Kwankwaso as a more capable and popular candidate.
