David Ibiyeomie Condemns Internet Fraud in Sermon

David Ibiyeomie, the presiding pastor of Salvation Ministries, condemned internet fraud, commonly referred to as Yahoo, during a recent sermon. He characterized cybercrime as theft and cautioned fraudsters against bringing illicit proceeds into the church.

Ibiyeomie stated that financial contributions derived from fraudulent activities would not be accepted, emphasizing that stealing remains wrong regardless of its justification. He questioned the conscience of individuals involved in internet fraud who still participate in church activities.

Ibiyeomie recounted a tragic case of an electrical engineer and university professor who lost his life savings to fraudsters, leading to his eventual death due to a medical emergency. He urged members of Salvation Ministries engaged in internet fraud to refrain from making offerings and insisted that economic hardships do not justify stealing.

The pastor called for Christians to pursue legitimate means of earning a living and to distance themselves from cybercriminals.
