Davido Named Chairman of Osun State Sports Trust Fund to Revamp Sports Sector

Nigerian music sensation Davido has been appointed as the Chairman of Osun State Sports Trust Fund by the Osun State government. This move is part of ongoing efforts to revitalize the state's sports sector under Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration.

Davido's role will involve mobilizing resources to develop and modernize sports facilities across Osun State. The state also plans to establish the Osun State Sports Commission to oversee sports development policies.

The award-winning singer has accepted the role to rehabilitate the Osogbo Township Stadium to meet Olympic standards and attract investments to enhance sports growth in Osun.
