Dafinone Celebrates Delta State's 35th Anniversary

Senator Ede Dafinone, representing the Delta Central Senatorial District, extended his congratulations to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, the government, and the people of Delta State, as well as the Urhobo nation, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the state's creation. In his goodwill message, Dafinone described this milestone as a moment for reflection on Delta State’s journey and a reaffirmation of the collective commitment to peace, unity, and sustainable development among its people.

He urged Deltans to embrace love, mutual respect, and understanding, regardless of ethnic, cultural, or political differences, stating that diversity should be a source of strength. Dafinone emphasized the importance of recognizing the contributions of various ethnic groups to foster unity and prosperity.

He commended Governor Oborevwori for his leadership and called for continued unity among Deltans to pursue a greater Delta, wishing the state many more years of growth and enduring unity.
