Delta Commissioner Enodeh Prioritizes Youth Empowerment

Brave Enodeh, recently appointed as the Delta State Commissioner for Youth Development by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, stated that the administration will prioritize job creation, skills acquisition, and youth empowerment to address unemployment and drug abuse. Speaking in Asaba, Enodeh highlighted the ministry's plans to introduce programs aimed at equipping young people with practical skills and creating employment opportunities.

He noted the significant turnout of youths expressing interest in government programs following his appointment, indicating their confidence in the administration. Enodeh emphasized the importance of vocational training, entrepreneurship, and digital skills development for youth self-reliance.

He identified drug abuse as a major challenge linked to idleness and negative peer influence, committing to strengthen youth engagement programs to keep them productively occupied. Enodeh announced that the ministry is developing programs to empower youths across the state and urged them to remain patient and focused to take advantage of upcoming opportunities.
