National Boundary Commission Celebrates Democracy Day

On Democracy Day, the Director-General of the National Boundary Commission delivered a message celebrating 26 years of uninterrupted democratic governance in Nigeria. The message highlighted the sacrifices made by Nigerians in the struggle for democracy and called for collective responsibility to sustain peace and justice in the nation.

It acknowledged the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, in strengthening democratic institutions and promoting policies aimed at fostering national integration, security, and development. The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to peaceful boundary management as a vital aspect of national stability and good governance.

It also emphasized the importance of cross-border cooperation and urged Nigerians to uphold values of peace, tolerance, dialogue, and patriotism for the progress and prosperity of the nation.
