MTN Nigeria Donates 149 MiFi Devices to Educators

MTN Nigeria donated 149 MiFi devices to teachers during the fourth Digital Educator Conference & Exhibition held at Ecobank Headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos. This initiative aims to enhance teachers' access to reliable connectivity, allowing them to utilize digital learning resources and improve classroom instruction.

The conference gathered over 700 educators, policymakers, and technology experts to discuss bridging the digital skills gap in Nigeria. Idowu Adesokan, General Manager of Consumer Segment Management at MTN Nigeria, emphasized the importance of reliable connectivity for teaching and professional development.

He stated that equipping teachers with digital tools is essential for better educational outcomes. Ibukunoluwa Ogooluwa, a biology teacher at Deeper Life High School, expressed gratitude for the donation, highlighting its significance in providing educators with the necessary resources to improve their teaching and professional development.
