Digital Encode Launches DEPAS AI to Combat Cyberattacks

Digital Encode has introduced DEPAS AI, a fully autonomous enterprise penetration testing platform aimed at countering the rise of AI-driven cyberattacks that have significantly impacted organizations worldwide. The platform, known as Digital Encode Penetration Autonomous System (DEPAS), was developed in Nigeria to enhance cyber resilience against both local and global threats.

At a press conference in Lagos, Prof. Adewale Peter Obadare, Chief Visionary Officer at Digital Encode, explained that DEPAS AI transitions organizations from periodic manual assessments to continuous autonomous testing. The platform employs specialized AI security agents that operate simultaneously across an organization’s entire attack surface.

An agentic coordinator manages the operations, analyzes results in real time, and deploys follow-up agents for thorough coverage. Each finding is verified by a separate agent to eliminate false positives, while a proprietary chain-builder maps vulnerabilities into potential attack sequences.

DEPAS AI is capable of testing various systems, including bespoke applications, web applications, APIs, mobile applications, backend systems, cloud environments, and network infrastructure.
