Dino Melaye Warns EFCC Against Arresting Atiku Abubakar

Dino Melaye, a prominent member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), issued a warning to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) regarding any potential attempts to invite, arrest, or interrogate the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar. This statement follows a call from Ntufam Hilliard Eta, a former National Vice Chairman (South-South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), urging the EFCC and other law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute Atiku over corruption allegations.

Melaye expressed that if Atiku is subjected to any frivolous corruption petitions leading to his invitation or arrest, the ADC would demonstrate to the Federal Government that the citizens of Nigeria constitute a larger demographic than those in government. He emphasized that the ADC would not act out of fear or favor, asserting the importance of the people's voice in governance.
