Dolphins Begin Title Defense Against First Deep Water

Dolphins Women Basketball Club will begin the defense of their NBBF/Zenith Bank Women Basketball Premier League title on Sunday, August 16. They will face First Deep Water at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.

This match marks the start of the First Phase of the season for the Atlantic Conference. The opening day will also feature IGP Queens competing against newcomers Victoria Queens, while the afternoon matches include a game between the league's record winners, First Bank, and Royal Aces, as well as a clash between two-time league champions MFM and Bayelsa Blue Whales.

Teams are scheduled to arrive on Saturday, August 15, with the First Phase of the Atlantic Conference running from August 16 to August 22, culminating in a significant match between MFM and First Bank on the evening of August 22.
