DSS Arrests Uche Nnaji Over Certificate Forgery Claims

Uche Nnaji, the former Minister of Science and Technology, was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) on Wednesday morning at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu. The arrest was made as part of an investigation into allegations of certificate forgery.

Following his arrest, the DSS handed Nnaji over to the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) for further action. Nnaji had resigned from his ministerial position in October amid controversies surrounding his conduct.

Sources indicate that the ICPC had extended several invitations to Nnaji prior to his arrest, as part of their investigation into corrupt practices related to his management of the ministry.
