Opposition Praised for Stance on E-Transmission of Results

During a session in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Hon. Fred Agbedi commended the opposition for their dedication to the Nigerian populace concerning the e-transmission of election results.

He stated that the opposition truly represented the interests of Nigerians, particularly during a heated debate where members voiced their dissatisfaction with proposed amendments to the Electoral Act. The session was marked by rowdy exchanges, with representatives chanting and staging a walkout to express their discontent.

Agbedi emphasized that the opposition had done their best to stand up for Nigerian rights, despite the challenges posed by the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). He noted that the opposition's actions made him proud, asserting that the right thing was done.
