Vigilante Shoots 21-Year-Old During Ebonyi Cultural Festival

Emmanuel John Igboko, a 21-year-old, was allegedly shot dead by a local vigilante member, Chilezi Duke, during a traditional ceremony in Unwana Afikpo, Ebonyi State. The incident occurred during the Ebikpo cultural celebration where young men in the community participate in rituals.

The vigilante reportedly misused his firearm, leading to the tragic death. The Ebonyi State Police, represented by Joshua Ukandu, has launched a manhunt for the suspect.
