Edo State Awards Scholarships to Gen Braimah's Children

The Edo State government has approved full educational scholarships for the three children of the late Brigadier General Oseni Omoh Braimah, who served in the military and paid the ultimate price for the country. The announcement was made by Governor Mondai Okpebholo on a Thursday, with the scholarships covering the current educational levels of the children.

The beneficiaries include Farida Hussain Braimah, an 18-year-old first-year software engineering student at Nile University, Amir Hussain Braimah, a 16-year-old SS3 student at Olumawu Senior School, and Yasmeen Hussain Braimah, a 12-year-old JSS2 pupil at Olumawu Junior Secondary School, all located in Abuja. Governor Okpebholo emphasized that this gesture is a moral obligation to honor fallen military personnel and to ensure that their families are supported.

The initiative aligns with the administration's educational agenda focused on human capital development and social welfare, reaffirming the commitment to invest in the future of these children.
