Edo State Government Sponsors Education for Late General's Children

The Edo State Government, under Governor Okpebholo, has announced a full educational scholarship for the three children of the late Brig-Gen Oseni Omoh Braimah, who served in the military. This initiative aims to ensure that the children can continue their education without interruption.

The beneficiaries include Farida Hussain Braimah, an 18-year-old first-year software engineering student at Nile University Abuja; Amir Hussain Braimah, a 16-year-old SS3 student at Olumawu Senior School Abuja; and Yasmeen Hussain Braimah, a 12-year-old JSS2 pupil at Olumawu Junior Secondary School Abuja. The scholarship reflects the government's commitment to supporting the families of fallen military personnel and is part of a broader agenda to prioritize human capital development and social welfare.

Governor Okpebholo emphasized the moral responsibility of the government to honor the sacrifices of military personnel and called on the private sector to adopt similar initiatives to support the families of those who have died in the line of duty.
