EFCC Arrests Archbishop for Alleged Naira Abuse and Money Laundering

The EFCC arrested Archbishop Angel Oyegh for alleged Naira abuse and conspiracy to mutilate Naira notes, suspected money laundering, and contravention of the Central Bank of Nigeria Act. The arrest followed a viral video showing individuals spraying Naira notes during a church program in Warri, Delta State.

Oyegh, the self-acclaimed Archbishop and founder of a faith healing ministry, will be charged to court soon pending the conclusion of investigations.
