Tinubu, Governors Urge Muslims to Embrace Prophet's Teachings

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and several state governors have extended congratulations to Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, encouraging them to embody the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). In a statement issued on Tuesday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Tinubu emphasized the importance of using this celebration for introspection, prayer, and learning from the Prophet’s virtues.

He urged religious leaders to pray for the nation and guide their followers in applying these teachings. Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf echoed this sentiment, calling for reflection on the Prophet's exemplary character and virtues such as peace, justice, and compassion.

Plateau State Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang highlighted the relevance of the Prophet's lessons in today's society, while Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu called for prayers to address insecurity in the state. The governors collectively urged the promotion of peaceful coexistence and respect among diverse communities.
