Tinubu and Shettima Urge Prayers on Eid-el-Maulud

On the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, President Bola Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima extended their congratulations to Muslims across Nigeria. In a message issued by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu called for prayers against insecurity and other afflictions affecting parts of the country.

He urged the Muslim faithful to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, emphasizing virtues such as devotion, perseverance, and selflessness. Tinubu encouraged religious leaders to pray for the nation and inspire their followers to apply these lessons in their commitment to Nigeria.

Vice-President Shettima, in his message, highlighted the enduring lessons of the Prophet's life, including mercy and justice, and called for unity and compassion among Nigerians. He urged citizens to remember the needy and embody the spirit of kindness during the celebration.

Both leaders stressed the importance of peace and mutual respect in Nigeria's diverse society.
