Shettima Urges Peace and Unity During Eid-el-Maulud

On the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, Vice-President Kashim Shettima called on Nigerians to renew their commitment to peace, compassion, unity, and service to humanity. In his message, he extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah and all Nigerians, emphasizing the opportunity to reflect on the enduring lessons of Prophet Muhammad's life.

Shettima highlighted that the Prophet's teachings exemplify mercy, humility, justice, patience, and service to humanity. He urged citizens to draw inspiration from these values, particularly as Nigeria experiences sustained economic growth under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Shettima encouraged Nigerians to strengthen unity, care for vulnerable members of society, and reject hatred and division. He described Nigeria’s diversity as a strength and called for a peaceful coexistence among different faiths and backgrounds.

Shettima concluded by praying for lasting peace and prosperity in Nigeria and divine guidance for the citizens.
