Leaders Urge Peace and Unity During Eid-el-Maulud 2026

On the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud in 2026, Bauchi State Governor, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, along with Archbishop Daniel Okoh, President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Nyesom Wike, and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, extended their felicitations to Muslim faithful across Nigeria.

Governor Mohammed urged Muslims to embrace peace, compassion, and unity, while also calling for intensified prayers for peace, security, and economic prosperity in Bauchi State and Nigeria amidst current challenges. He reaffirmed his administration's commitment to ongoing investments in critical sectors and the completion of projects to ensure lasting development.

Hon. Kalu highlighted the significance of Eid-el-Maulud as a time for reflection on the virtues of Prophet Muhammad, while Archbishop Okoh encouraged all Nigerians to embody mercy and compassion during the celebrations.
