Tinubu Urges Muslims to Embrace Prophet Muhammad's Teachings

On Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu issued a statement congratulating Muslims on the Eid-el-Maulud celebration, urging them to embody the virtues and teachings of Prophet Muhammad. He emphasized the importance of using this occasion for introspection, prayer, and learning from the Prophet’s exceptional virtues, including devotion, perseverance, tolerance, humility, and selflessness.

Tinubu called on religious leaders to pray for the country and encourage their followers to apply the lessons from the Prophet’s life in their commitment to national development. He also urged those celebrating the Maulud festival to extend support to the needy and vulnerable, reflecting the spirit of the season.

Additionally, he called for prayers against the insecurity and other challenges affecting various parts of Nigeria.
