Tinubu Urges Muslims to Embrace Prophet Muhammad's Virtues

On Tuesday, President Bola Tinubu extended his congratulations to Muslims in Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, which celebrates the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu encouraged the faithful to reflect on the teachings of the Prophet.

He highlighted the importance of virtues such as devotion, perseverance, tolerance, humility, and selflessness, urging Muslims to incorporate these lessons into their lives. Tinubu also called on religious leaders to pray for the country and to guide their followers in applying the Prophet's teachings to their commitment to national issues.

Additionally, he urged those celebrating the Maulud festival to assist the needy and vulnerable, reinforcing the spirit of fellowship during the season. The President called for prayers against insecurity and other challenges facing various regions of Nigeria.
