98-Year-Old Voter Inspired by Awolowo's Legacy

Awojobi Adu, a 98-year-old voter, shared his motivations for participating in politics, attributing his inspiration to the late Obafemi Awolowo, a prominent politician and leader of the Action Group. During an interview, Adu highlighted Awolowo's courage, principles, and the respect he earned, particularly in the South West region of Nigeria.

He expressed regret for not having formal education and for missing out on Awolowo's free education policies, which could have provided him with socio-economic opportunities. He noted that despite the current challenges facing Nigeria, he remains optimistic about the nation's future and continues to exercise his right to vote.
