Ekiti State Upgrades NYSC Orientation Camp Facilities

The Ekiti State Government has commenced the renovation and infrastructural upgrade of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp located in Emure-Ise-Orun, Ekiti State. Governor Biodun Oyebanji previously pledged to enhance the facility for corps members.
During an inspection on Wednesday, the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Gold Adedayo, reported that 19 projects are currently underway at the camp. He emphasized that the extensive renovations reflect the Oyebanji administration’s commitment to youth development, aiming to transform the camp into one of the premier NYSC orientation facilities in Nigeria.
Adedayo expressed satisfaction with the work's quality and pace, highlighting improvements to the gatehouse, registration center, hostels, dining area, kitchen, and more. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Projects, Mr Olubunmi Talabi, stated that the projects are being executed under his bureau's supervision and are expected to be completed within two months.
Solar lighting solutions will also be installed to enhance security and experience for corps members.
