Senator Ayo Arise Congratulates Oyebanji on Re-election

Senator Ayo Arise congratulated Biodun Oyebanji on his re-election as the governor of Ekiti State following a landmark victory in the governorship election held on June 20, 2026. In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, Senator Arise described Oyebanji's victory as a testament to his commitment to the development of the state.

He commended the voters in Ekiti for coming out en masse to re-elect Oyebanji and his deputy, Monisola Afuy, for a second term. Senator Arise noted that the outcome of the election would facilitate infrastructural development projects across the state and would allow Governor Oyebanji's office to bring further transformation in sectors such as road, education, health, agriculture, and civil service.

However, he stressed the need for unity, justice, and fairness within the APC in Ekiti State as they prepare for the 2027 general elections.
