Hakeem Jamiu Supports Education with Book Donations

Rt. Hon. Hakeem Jamiu, representing Irepodun/Ifelodun Constituency II in the Ekiti State House of Assembly and a former Deputy Speaker, distributed textbooks, exercise books, and his authored books to students in five secondary schools in Ekiti. The schools benefiting from this initiative are Oloketuyi Memorial Grammar School, Igbemo Community Comprehensive High School, Esure Community High School, Awo Community High School, and Ola Oluwa Muslim Grammar School, Ado Ekiti, which is Jamiu's alma mater.

The textbooks included subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, and Sciences, aimed at assisting students preparing for WAEC, NECO, GCE, and JAMB examinations. Jamiu emphasized the importance of education as a vital investment and noted that the initiative supports the state government's human capital development agenda under Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

He encouraged students to remain focused and disciplined, recalling his own educational experiences. The donation was well-received, with teachers and students expressing gratitude for the timely support.
