Adeola Challenges Rivals to Prove Origin Claims in 24 Hours

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, has issued a challenge to fellow party aspirants Abayomi Hunye and Ambassador Folake Marcus-Bello. He demands that they substantiate their allegations regarding his origin from Ekiti State within 24 hours or face legal consequences.

This challenge follows their assertions made during interviews on a national television station, where they claimed Adeola lied about being from Ogun State. In a statement signed by his Media Adviser, Chief Kayode Odunaro, Adeola expressed disbelief at the accusations and threatened legal action if they fail to provide evidence.

He noted that similar claims had previously been used against him during his campaign for the Ogun West senatorial district, which did not hinder his election success in the 2023 National Assembly elections. Adeola emphasized that the resurgence of these allegations is an attempt to undermine his candidacy for the 2027 governorship race in Ogun State.
