Ekiti Government Investigates Foul Odour in Ado Ekiti

The Ekiti State Government has responded to residents' complaints regarding a foul odour in Ado Ekiti, the state capital. Taiwo Olatunbosun, the State Commissioner for Information, urged residents to remain calm and assured them of the government's commitment to their safety and well-being.

In a statement, Olatunbosun indicated that coordinated investigations and inspections are underway to address the environmental nuisance. The government has identified factors contributing to the odour, such as indiscriminate sewage disposal and poor waste management.
