Gombe APC Candidate Emphasizes Polling Units Over Social Media

Ibrahim Shawai, the media aide to Dr Jamil Gwamna, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Gombe State, asserted that the outcome of the 2027 governorship election will be determined at polling units rather than on social media platforms. In a statement issued on Friday, Shawai highlighted Gwamna's ongoing engagement with communities across Gombe State as a crucial aspect of his campaign.

He pointed out that while social media is a significant tool for political communication, it does not equate to actual electoral support. Shawai emphasized that elections are won by voters at polling units, not by online popularity.

He noted that Gwamna's relationship with the people of Gombe has been built over decades through various engagements, and the focus should now shift to discussing Gwamna's vision for the future, including issues like employment, agriculture, education, and healthcare.
