Emir of Daura Honors Tinubu's Daughter with Title

The Emir of Daura conferred the traditional title of Jakadiyar Kasar Hausa on Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, during a ceremony at the Emir’s Palace in Daura. Hannatu Musa Musawa, the Minister of Arts and Creative Economy, was also honored with the title of Mairamar Kasar Hausa.

This event took place shortly after the Hawan Magajiya, known as Sallar Gani, and was attended by prominent government officials, traditional rulers, and several female traditional title holders. The traditional titles were awarded in recognition of the recipients' significant contributions to society, particularly in promoting cultural heritage, empowering women, and supporting community development.

The ceremony underscored the cultural traditions of the Daura Emirate and the vital role of traditional institutions in acknowledging individuals who contribute to the preservation of Hausa culture and heritage. Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, and other dignitaries were present at the occasion.
