MAELF Awards N20m Grants to Youth Innovators in Abuja

The Mustapha Abdullahi Energy Leadership Fellowship (MAELF) awarded N20 million in grants to youth innovators during a six-day program in Abuja, organized by the APC National Youth Wing in collaboration with the Dam Foundation. The event featured leadership training, policy engagement, mentorship, and innovation pitch sessions.

Emmanuel Chinecherem Ezea emerged as the overall best fellow, winning a N5 million grant for his community-based electricity solution, awarded by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Other notable recipients included Samuel Uzodinma Muoleeh of Archpac Technology Ltd, who received N3 million as the second overall best fellow, and Audu Precious Adayi of Solar Switch, who won N2 million as the third overall best fellow.

The fellowship also recognized teams and individuals for various achievements, including a N5 million award for the best group pitch and N500,000 for the best behavioral fellow. Dayo Israel, the APC National Youth Leader, emphasized the fellowship's role in investing in Nigeria's future energy sector.
